4th National Mindfulness Meditation Academic Conference
YAMH had the priviledge to organize and partake in the National Mindfulness Meditation Academic Conference, hosted by Peking University's School of Psychological and Cognitive Sciences. Researchers and experts from all over the world shared their research and perspectives about mindfulness meditation.

Seniors in Nursing Homes
YAMH has led yoga and mindfulness meditation sessions at nursing homes for elderly people. Some elders suffer from conditions that pervent them from practicing yoga on the mat, and they would practice yoga on the chair in the yoga classes.

YAMH has incorporated mindfulness and meditation program into addiction treatment center.

Healthy Young Minds
Healthy Young Minds is an annual project that YAMH initiates and organizes. The project has consisted of a series of webinars over zoom and focuses on teenagers (middle and high school students). Each session has started with a short meditation sessions, and each webinar focuses on a different topic: how to improve mental health (the techniques and methods), destigmatizing mental health issues and mental illness, and guest speakers sharing their stories.

Left-Behind Children in Special Schools
The Youth Alliance for Mental Health initiated three programs in Bozhou No. 1 School in Anhui to approach the issue of poor mental health of left-behind children in different ways. Many of the students there are left-behind children, children who remain in rural regions of China while their parents leave to work in urban areas
